Santa Fe School is committed to creating a safe environment that cultivates a positive community of learners.

What is PBIS?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a way for schools to encourage good behavior. This is an approach where students learn about appropriate behavior, just as they learn other subjects like math or science. They are taught social skills, including how to act in different locations, such as the classroom, playground, or in the cafeteria. This is an approach where students learn about appropriate behavior, just as they would teach about other subjects like reading or math. The focus of PBIS is prevention, not punishment.

Our behavior expectations are:  Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible

*Be Safe     *Be Respectful     *Be Responsible
